Presidential Proclamation-- World AIDS Day 2009
Our Nation joins the world in celebrating the extraordinary advancements we have made in the battle against HIV and AIDS, and remembering those we have lost. Over the past three decades, brave men and women have fought devastating discrimination, stigma, doubt, and violence as they stood in the face of this deadly disease. Many of them would not be here today, but for the dedication of other persons living with HIV, their loved ones and families, community advocates, and members of the medical profession.

Statement of Admin. Policy - S. 1793 Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009
The Administration strongly supports Senate passage of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009. The Ryan White program provides critical health care and related services to uninsured and underinsured people living with HIV/AIDS. This legislation authorizes appropriations for the program for the next four years.

But don't let his screen credits fool you: he's a trained actor with serious on-stage chops. David is an outspoken environmentalist - he and wife Alysia's home was featured on TV's "World's Greenest Homes". Both David and Alysia are involved with many charities including The Cancer Support Community, Habitat for Humanity, Actors for Austism and many others.

Alysia Reiner

Alysia won her first Screen Actor's Guild award (Outstanding Performance in an Ensemble Cast) playing Christine in the Oscar-winning film Sideways. Her other film credits include One Last Thing, For The Love of the Game, among many others. Alysia has acted on numerous television series and performed off Broadway. Alysia created Speed Grieving, an award-winning short film about the loss of her father. She partnered with the Cancer Support Community to bring this film to all their centers to aid others in their grieving.

Sebastian Siegel is a British-American filmmaker and actor born in Oxford, England. His father is Indian religions professor and Pulitzer nominated author, Lee Siegel. His grandfather, Leonard Thompson, was a lifelong opponent of apartheid in South Africa. He began studying drama at age seven, won the drama prize at Kent School, and started at The University of Hawaii at fourteen to study theatre.
He has appeared in numerous television shows including Baywatch, Roswell, Passions, CSI_ MIami, and Lost.

Jackie Kallen

Dubbed The First Lady of Boxing after 33 years in the boxing world as publicist and manager. Having managed six champions, she was twice-nominated as Manager of The Year. Her life story inspired the Paramont film Against The Ropes starring Meg Ryan. Jackie was Associate Producer of the film and made a cameo appearance.
A former journalist, TV host and radio personality in her native Detroit. She is the author of Hit Me With Your best Shot. Jackie appeared on the NBC show The Contender with Sylvester Stallone and Sugar Ray Leonard. She is currently writing her second book and co-producing a boxing film with Sugar Ray Leonard.
Jackie was one of the first females to succeed in the male-dominated world of professional boxing. She served as commissioner of the International Female Boxing Association and mentors young women hoping to work in the industry, and has won numerous awards and honors. She is a role model to people everywhere who wish to beat the odds and achieve success.

Sasha
Russian pop singer - model - choreographer - video producer
Born in Moscow, Sasha began her musical career at 18 years old. She produced and starred in the MTV Russian hit series Girl Power. She has released two successful solo albums, 11 music videos, and performed to sold out concerts. She has set her sights on conquering the pop charts in the United States.

Sheree is a volunteer and contributor to several charities including White Bridle Humane Society, Trail of Tears, and The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Michael Lohan
